Concept
A playful twist on the conventional retail space. In this immersive environment the objects on display are suspended from red ropes and metal stalagmites to complement Henrik Vibskov’s mischievous style.

 
 
 
 
 

Developed Design
The store was made from a kit of parts that were easily adaptable to any retail space. Comprising: rope, Douglas Fir planks, metal hangers, and metal brackets shaped like stalactites and stalagmites. Thirty-eight components were custom designed.

 

Set in a busy shopping district of Copenhagen, the interior was designed to lure passers-by in from the street and compete with neighbouring shop fronts. An attention grabbing rope suspended table was displayed in each window. Since the renovation the store has experienced a considerable increase in footfall.
